Fr Anthony’s 10th Anniversary of Ordination
We joyfully celebrate our parish priest, Fr Anthony’s 10th Anniversary of Ordination on 27th
June at 2pm, followed by refreshments in the parish hall. Fr Anthony will be joined by a
classmate of his, Fr Gaston Afah, and a group from the Catholic Men Association and
friends. All are warmly invited to join us for this happy occasion.

Golden Jubilee Celebration
Join us for Fr. Antony Gatt’s Golden Jubilee Mass on Saturday 13 June 2026, as we give
thanks for his many years of dedicated priestly service. The 10 am Mass will be followed
by refreshments in the Parish Hall.

Memorial Mass
On 4th July 2026, there will be a memorial mass for Fr Shaun Budden and Fr Kevin Bidgood at 10am followed by
refreshments in the hall. Fr Shaun and Fr Kevin were both integral to our parish community. We give thanks for their
lives and service, and all are warmly invited to join us in prayer and remembrance.

If you or a relative are unable to attend Mass due to poor
health, illness or mobility challenges, please kindly contact

First Holy Communion Congratulations!!
We warmly congratulate Aitana, An Minh, Anh May, Tsz Yau Angie, Constance, Gabriel, George David
Nicholas, Igisa Lohure F., Mary Elizabeth, Loro, Kabang, Ohkule and Oliwia who have received their First
Holy Communion in our parish. May the grace of this special day stay with you always, and may you
continue to grow in love for Jesus in the Eucharist.

REPAIR CAFE

Good afternoon,

Should you be interested, the next Repair Cafe at Immaculate Conception church hall, 346 Portswood Road, SO17 3SB, will be held on Saturday 20 June from 10.30am till 12.30pm.

We undertake to try fixing jewellery, sewing repairs, electric & electronic repairs, bike & scooter repairs and many other items for a donation of your choice.

Whilst awaiting your turn, we have refreshments including delicious homemade cakes.

Please tell your family and friends about this opportunity and we look forward to seeing you there.

SOUTHAMPTON SUPPORT FOR THE HOMELESS
This year the Council has been given £200,000 to help
accommodate the homeless.
The Society of st.James has been given the
responsibility and this week they have opened a
permanent Night Shelter in St.Marys which has 11 beds
for homeless people.
To get a bed the person has to register with the Two
Saints Day centre in Frederick Street and they will have
a place from 8pm to 8.30am, as long as they behave.
There is also a Nite Cafe running Monday to Friday, (
Wednesday is Women only) 4pm to 7pm and this
staffed by Christian volunteers from Churches in the city and provides food , drinks, activities, a listening ear and friendly welcome.

URGENT REQUEST FOR PRAYER PARTNERS
Both the Southampton Street Pastors and the Hazel
Project who both deal with homeless and addicted people
in our city and do various daytime and night time patrols
need volunteers TO PRAY FROM HOME, while in touch
with a patrol team, as we believe that we need to
communicate with Jesus while we are working and
respond to his Spirit and follow his guidance. These
patrols are mainly on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and
you would be added to a rota and you can specify how
much or little you wish to do over a month.
