Palm Sunday. Day 1.
Expectation and welcome.

Read: Mark 11:1–11
This morning, the road is lined with hope. People welcome Jesus with real emotion, real longing, real expectation. And yet Holy Week gently asks what kind of Saviour we are welcoming, and what kind of kingdom we are expecting.

Examen:
Where have I noticed God’s presence in the last 24 hours, even briefly.
Where have I welcomed God, but only on my terms.
What is stirring in me today, excitement, anxiety, longing, weariness.
What is one gentle invitation God is giving me as this week begins.

Pray:
Jesus, I welcome you today. Save me, yes, but also reshape me. Give me the courage to follow you not only when the crowd is singing, but when the road grows quiet. Amen.
