Our thoughts are with the Catholic community today.

Our hearts go out to our Catholic friends and all who mourn the loss of Pope Francis. He leaves a legacy of enlightened compassion, based in a loving respect for humanity and the earth, our common home.

Wishing peace and reflection to all those observing Good Friday today. May this solemn day bring comfort, hope, and a renewed sense of faith.

On the Supreme Courts ruling funded by all the hate groups without Transgender representation being heard today.

We will NOT only once again be hosting Trans Pride Southampton at our venue, but we will be supporting all Trans people wherever they are.

We not only host this event, but also have Transgender employees and firmly stand against the hateful people who seek to divide and conquer with this law.

Trans rights are human rights. Simple. We send our love to our Trans siblings, employees and anyone else who needs us.

On this day, it feels appropriate for us to remind folks of the motion passed at the The Unitarians General Assembly Meetings in 2022:

The General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches:

a) Affirms with joy that each person’s understanding and statement of their own gender identity is a matter of conscience;
b) Affirms that transgender rights are human rights;
c) Joins the British Medical Association, the Trades Union Congress and others in civil society in urging the adoption of a self-declaration model for gender recognition by the UK and devolved governments; and
d) Requests that the Chief Officer lobby for this model in response to UK or devolved government consultations and on any other suitable occasion.

We stand by this motion and continue to welcome and affirm trans and non-binary folks who visit us and form part of our community. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

We have been made aware of an issue in our community for a centre that does a lot for the Southampton's Homeless community.

We are therefore setting up a drop off point for Southampton Day Centre and are calling out to the community for any unwanted items in the list below.

The day centre are after the following only.

(PLEASE NOTE NO MORE WOMEN'S CLOTHING IS NEEDED, AS THEY ARE OVERWHELMED WITH THAT FOR NOW).
