It was built in 1990 but there's always been a church here since 40's when our old church was brought flatpacked from Durham The Parochial Church Council of St Lawrence the Martyr is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for everyone, especially

for children, young people and vulnerable adults. This policy deals with all aspects of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Do you know of anyone in your church who would benefit from Catalyst training to equip and empower them to serve children and young people? We are especially keen to welcome young leaders aged 18+. This free course (fully funded by the Church of England) will include:
• An e-learning platform hosting all course content, accessible 24/7
• Five group sessions, one per month for 2 hours in person and on line.
• Conference/weekend away to The Hayes Centre in Derbyshire 29 -31 Jan.
• A special graduation to celebrate the end of the course in May in Cambridge.
• A local celebration event at Cuthbert House.

Messy Church is returning to St Lawrence...called The Ark.
Worship through play and fun, stories, friendship and food.

Lots of thought and prayer has gone into this. It will be run by our Authorised Children's Minister Adam and volunteers.

Looking forward to seeing you all on 31st October at 10am 😍
