(in conjunction with Edinburgh Food Project)

🍴 12:00-14:00 - ‘Priory Table’ Community Meal
(join us for a good meal and good company in a safe and welcoming space)

🛟 19:30-21:00 - Lifeboat
(a relaxed, friendly and supportive group - for those who may find church difficult for any reason)

Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday:

What a great concert it was last Friday - even the weather was good to us. The Royal Marines Ensemble gave as a taste of all kinds of music from Jazz to popular tunes and ceilidh music, lots of foot tapping stuff. And the local Sea Cadet corps were in attendance to serve drinks and generally help . The crowd of over 100 was very appreciative. Looking forward to next year’s concert!

It was brilliant to see our space used to host a charity concert last night, raising funds for the British Red Cross 🎵

Huge congrats to the (unnamed) band for organising the event, and thank you for entertaining us all with your music! You’re a very talented group of musicians. 🎸

Don’t worry if you missed out last night - as next Friday, 21 August, we’ll be hosting another charity concert. This time the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland will be playing in our Priory Gardens, ably supported by the Queensferry Sea Cadets. The concert is free (collection will be taken to support the RNRMC and Sea Cadet charities). Bring your picnic rugs, or folding chairs. Hopefully no need for umbrellas, but you never know! 🎺

Before that though, join us tomorrow morning at 10.30am for a time of worship. We’ll be looking at:

- 1 Samuel, ch28 v3 - 25
- Proverbs, ch3 v1 - 8
- Colossians, ch1 v24 - ch2 v15

We’ll be considering what it means to look to Jesus for the life, hope and guidance we all long for. ❤️

Once again, the Priory Church has pleasure in hosting the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland in the Priory Gardens. The concert is FREE. Queensferry Sea Cadets and RM Cadets will be serving FREE drinks and snacks. Bring your picnic rugs or folding chairs. A collection will be taken to support the RNRMC and Sea Cadet charities.

The Priory Church is now open every weekday Monday to Friday until about 2 pm . The Priory Cafe welcomes you from 9 am- 2 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays with tempting food and drinks and the Foodbank is open on Thursdays from 11 am to 1 pm.
And to escape the stress of life, there is space for quiet contemplation and prayer at the front near the altar.
Our Sunday Communion Service ( 10.30 am) is open to all and families with young children are very welcome.

We had a fantastic day yesterday at Port Edgar Marina, taking part in the Forth Bridges Raft Race. The sun was shining, supporters were cheering, and the water wasn’t (too) cold! ☀️

A strong 1st place finish in Heat 1 saw our Priory team through to the ‘winners’ semi-final.
Crossing the line in 2nd place in the semi’s was enough to secure our place in the final.
The Grand Finale was a close fought race from start to finish, and our Priory Ferry Rowers did well to finish in a respectable 3rd place overall 🥉

Massive thank you to the South
Queensferry Rotary, and Edinburgh Watersports for organising a fantastic day, and for keeping us all safe on the water.

Huge thanks also to everybody who has kindly donated to our fundraiser so far - it really is appreciated. We are fundraising for ‘The Priory Table’ - a weekly community meal hosted by volunteers of the Priory Church, in our Garden Room. Now that the Priory Table is gaining popularity we need to buy more chairs, tables and replace cooking equipment.

Exciting! 28th June at Port Edgar Marina ! The Priory Church is taking part in the Forth Bridges Raft Race organised by the South Queensferry Rotary Club. Our team, the Priory Ferry Rowing Team, are raising money for the Priory Table, our weekly community meal. Please come to cheer them on and support them in their fundraising by following this link.

Easter's Coming! Join us tonight as celebrations get underway! Looks like being a bit windy and wet though, so be sure and dress to stay dry and warm. We'll be in the Priory Church building and Garden Room. See you there!

See You Sunday! 9.30 to join our occasional 'scratch choir' with the service starting at 10.30 - or for something more contemporary, come along at 4pm, when kids start in the Garden room with everyone else is in church till we all join back together. Can't wait - should be good!
