IMPORTANT POST.

We at St Nick's were very sad to hear of the tragic death of 12-year-old Bobby Bloomfield, who died following a road accident at the start of this week.

We have been notified by someone in our community that an individual has been contacting people through Facebook, claiming to be running a fundraising event for Bobby's family at St Nick's tomorrow.

THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

We have not had any contact with Bobby's family and know nothing about such an event.

If anyone has information on official fundraising efforts please feel free to add in the comments.

We would of course be absolutely willing to welcome Bobby's family to St Nick's, or offer space for such an event if they got in touch, but this is not the case.

We will continue to remember Bobby and his family in prayer.

UPDATE - I have been in contact with Revd Julie, vicar of St Nicholas, Kelvedon Hatch, which is close to where this tragic incident took place. She has confirmed that she is not aware of any fundraising event taking place there either.
