We join our prayers with those across the U.K. Church, for everyone impacted by the tragic accident at Big Church Festival - for the family of the man who lost his life, for the six people who were injured to varying degrees, and for all those who witnessed the accident, tried to help, or were close by.

And for the organisers and volunteers of Big Church Festival.

May the God of all comfort bring peace and healing.

Praying for the safe travels for everyone now making their way home - including people from our own churches together community. May the Lord keep you safe.

We are devastated by the serious incident that took place at Big Church Festival 2026 today, in which a sign fell, injuring at least seven people, one of whom tragically lost their life.

First and foremost, all of our thoughts are with those who have been affected, their families and friends, and everyone who witnessed what happened.

Following today’s incident, we have made the decision to bring Big Church Festival 2026 to a close.

Church today looked a little different, but the same God met with us as we sat under His open heaven!

Followed by a delicious lunch, courtesy of our chief chef extraordinaire, Richard! What an amazing day! Thank you to Mark & Helen for opening your home and garden for us to enjoy Church without walls.
