The church is one of the most important buildings in your village. For a lot of people it’s where the major milestones of their lives are celebrated through baptisms, weddings and funerals. For many in the community it’s a place where they celebrate their faith in God and a place where they find their peace. Some use our space for community groups, a chance to meet other people. One person this week has decided to defile our place of worship by defecating in the grounds of our church, this has happened two nights in a row. Not only is this act disgusting but this is something our volunteers should not have to deal with. This now has to be dealt with at significant cost to the church. This matter has been reported to the police.

Today, young pilgrims celebrated our last Mass before heading home.

We have begun our morning with Bible study where we explored Jesus miracle of the Wedding at Cana, learning how joy brings us community, how Jesus gives us abundance and how Mary points us to Jesus.
