We are delighted to welcome Allegro Choir this Sunday for the finale of their Summer season supporting Benfleet First Responders and the Church working in the local community. The programme will include a selection from Kiss Me Kate musical and a medley of Sondheim songs as well as some wonderful solos, duets and traditional and new choral arrangements with Allegro’s usual mix of music from choral arrangements to popular modern composers and hit musicals and a few light hearted comedy numbers. We would love to see you there

Allegro choir launch their summer season “Allegro at Work and Play” with two concerts this weekend at All Saints Church, Stock on Saturday evening and Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh on Sunday afternoon, before singing at our Church on 19th July.

The programme will include a selection from Kiss Me Kate musical and a medley of Sondheim songs as well as some wonderful solos, duets and traditional and new choral arrangements. We would love to see you there and you can help us raise funds for a children’s charity in Bethlehem and Friends of Holy Trinity

Tonight was a fabulous evening of humour, poetry and storytelling combined with thoughtful reflection on life and faith. We were delighted to welcome Adrian and Bridget Plass for the first in our series of occasional Living Faith Talks at Benfleet Methodist Church. A truly memorable evening.

May the risen Christ fill your soul with joy today.
May you live as one who has seen the empty tomb and cannot keep the good news to yourself.
