Shoebox time, have you started working on your shoebox yet?
A special gift for children in other parts of the world who might not get any other gifts this year.
How many items can you get in a shoebox? Check website for what is allowed or not allowed.

It takes a team. A pretty brilliant one, actually. 🙌
Sorting. Checking. Packing. Cartoning. Loading.
There’s a huge amount of work between somebody handing us a shoebox and that box reaching a child or family overseas. Our warehouse volunteers are a vital part of that journey. Teams4U currently invites volunteers to help unload, check, carton and prepare boxes for transport.
Could you spare some time to help this year?

Counting down 5 days to go!
🎉🎉👏👏😄😄

The count down for 3 Generate is on!
Our top tips:
Take a camping chair for by your tent, coffee cup & water bottle and wear summer clothes, it’s stuffy. AND… good shoes, it’s lots of walking.
Look at the program and plan your day.
Don't forget your snazzy socks!

Lord, in our seasons of sorrow you are the source of joy. Thank you for your promise to be near to the broken-hearted and to bind their wounds.

Lord, for those who are longing for a freshness from you, we pray you would rest on them. We pray your presence would illuminate sparks of joy, allowing them to spread your goodness.

Lord, do what only you can – bring strength from fear, joy from grief, and bless your children around the world. Amen.

Harvest Thanksgiving

21/09/2026

Lord of the Harvest, we give thanks for your abundant provision and your bounteous creation.
We pray for a just and equal sharing of the world's resources that all may be fed.
We pray for farmers and all who work on land and sea.
❤️🙏🚜🍁🌾🎋

The beautiful landscape: the hidden isolation.
The fruitful farmland: the hard work it demands.
The pride of industrial heritage: the uncertainty of global economics.
The enrichment of diverse cultures: the division that can result.
The inheritance of the Wesleys; the weight of not wanting the life of our chapel to end.
Holy God, in that place where joy and sorrow meet and things are not simply one thing or another, be with us.
And, more than that, help us to know that you are there.
In all the joys, all the sorrows, and all the places in between. Amen.
