A wonderful resource being offered by St Philip’s for anyone in need — free access to showers, hygiene products and clean underwear for those facing homelessness or hardship.

So often people in these situations are overlooked, judged or simply turned away from, but acts like this restore dignity, humanity and hope in such a practical way. Something as simple as being able to freshen up and have clean essentials can make an enormous difference to someone’s confidence and wellbeing.

A huge thank you to everyone involved for caring for a part of our community that is too easily forgotten. What a brilliant example of compassion in action 💚

We did it! 💪 After years of campaigning, the government has announced major reforms to council tax collection: liability order fees capped at £100, longer timelines before enforcement, and promised new statutory steps councils must take. This is what happens when we come together to stand up for those facing poverty. 💚

For 30 years, CAP has worked with local churches across the UK to bring hope and freedom to those trapped in debt and poverty. Today, we’re excited to share that we’re coming alongside the charity (CMA), under the umbrella of a newly formed CAP Group, to reach more people with free, compassionate, face-to-face debt help.
