In shaa Allaah, we will pray the Eid-ul-Fitr prayer at Victoria Park, in Smethwick, if the weather is good. Please note:

✅⏰ Make sure to be on time as we will begin the prayer immediately at 9:00AM

⚠️✅1️⃣ There will be ⚠️ ONLY 1 JAMAAT! ⚠️

✅👣 Walk if you live locally. Park considerately if travelling by car

✅ Bring your own prayer mat

✅🗣️ Recite the Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, la ilaaha illallaah, Allaahu Akbar Allaahu Akbar wa lillaahi Al Hamd)

✅📍 Take different routes when coming to, and leaving from, the prayer

❌🚱 There will be no wudhu (ablution) facilities at the park

🌧️⚠️ IF IT RAINS ⚠️, Eid prayer will be held at the Gambian Islamic Community Centre:

1st Prayer: 9:00AM (English)
2nd Prayer: 10:00AM (Mandinka)
3rd Prayer: 11:00AM (Soninke)

Help Secure a Permanent Home for GICC

Alhamdulillah, £460,000 has already been raised towards the £800,000 target to secure a permanent home for the Gambian Islamic Community Centre in Smethwick.

We now need to raise the remaining £340,000 to complete the purchase before June 2026.

Every donation counts and is an opportunity for Sadaqah Jariyah that will benefit generations to come, in shaa Allah.

The blessed month of Ramadan begins on Wednesday 18th February 2026.

First Taraweeh will be held tonight, Tuesday 17th February 2026, after Isha.
