Masjid Usman Smethwick Masjid Usman is an upcoming Islamic Centre in the thriving community of Smethwick, serving the Muslim populations of Birmingham and Sandwell.

We aim to provide Muslim brothers and sisters from all backgrounds with Islamic insight, spirituality and education that will bring them closer to Allah Ta’aala. We host many events throughout the Islamic calendar, as well as holding regular Tafsir, Tajweed and elementary classes for both brothers and sisters. Our speciality is to provide the the local Muslim community with ample space for worship

, and to offer religious guidance, and services such as marriage ceremonies, birth and funeral rites under the supervision of qualified English-speaking Imams. A Masjid Usman – promoting the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah for the benefit of the local community, regardless of age, gender or race.

Alhamdulillah Had an amazing family trip to Pistyll Rhaeadr today, with over 50 participants.
The views were absolutely stunning and the waterfall was even more beautiful in person. We all had such a lovely time exploring, relaxing, and making memories together.
So nice to get away, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with everyone. Definitely a day to remember.

🌸 Growing Up for Young Muslimahs 🌸

A gentle and empowering session designed to support girls as they navigate growing up with confidence, dignity, and faith.

✨ Topics include:
* Puberty and body changes
* Periods (ḥayḍ)
* Personal hygiene
* Emotional wellbeing

All delivered through a supportive, age-appropriate Islamic perspective — encouraging open, honest, and healthy conversations in a safe and welcoming environment.

🎁 Each student will also create and take home their own hygiene kit, filled with essential and self-care items.
