On the Day of Ashoora, Alquaim volunteers set up a sabeel (refreshment stand) on Farnham Road outside Alquaim Centre.
Water and juices were served to the public as a gesture of compassion and remembrance, in honour of Imam Hussain (A.S) and the timeless message of the tragedy of Karbala.

Leaflets from the Who is Hussain? campaign were also distributed to raise awareness about the significance of Ashoora and the universal values Imam Hussain (A.S) stood for — justice, sacrifice, and standing against oppression.
