We were delighted to celebrate a truly memorable Installation Service for Rev Sam Sanya at St Paul’s Church, Slough.
The service was led by the Area Dean, Rev Janet Binns, and we were honoured to hear the Word of God shared by the Bishop of Buckingham, Rev Dave Bull, who reminded us of Jesus’ Great Commission: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
It was wonderful to welcome members of the wider community who joined us for this special occasion, including our MP Tan Dhesi, the Deputy Mayor, and schools worker Wayne Dixon. Their presence reflected the strong connection between the church and the local community.
This historic service was marked by vibrant, intercultural worship that reflected the rich diversity of our congregation, followed by a joyful time of fellowship and delicious food from around the world.
We pray that Rev Sam Sanya, together with his wife Rachel and daughter Hannah, will feel truly at home in Slough. May God richly bless their life and ministry in this parish. 🙏✨
