After a fantastic day yesterday, of travelling between the churches, there’s still time to show your support and add to our fundraising total!

Every donation makes a difference, with 50% of everything we raise coming back to our churches and 50% going to Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust (GHCT), helping to support and preserve historic church buildings across Gloucestershire.

Harvest Songs of Praise at St John’s, Slimbridge

Come and join us for the Harvest Songs of Praise as we gather to give thanks for this year’s crops, harvest and all the blessings we enjoy.

📍 St John the Evangelist Church, Slimbridge

We’ll enjoy a joyful service of favourite harvest hymns and songs, followed by a delicious afternoon tea.

Everyone is warmly invited, whether you’re a regular at St John’s, haven’t been for a while, or have never joined us before.

Ride + Stride is THIS SATURDAY!

This Saturday, 12th September, we’re taking part in Ride + Stride for Churches, walking, cycling and driving between local churches to help raise vital funds and support our wonderful historic churches.

Our church will also be OPEN 9am - 4pm on the day, so whether you’re taking part or simply passing by, please pop in and say hello. Everyone is very welcome!

St John’s Church Coffee Morning!

Join us on Saturday 5th September, 10:30am–12 noon at Slimbridge Village Hall for coffee, cake and good company.

All proceeds will go to Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Everyone is welcome , come along, enjoy a cuppa and support a fantastic cause!

On Saturday 12th September 2026, we’re inviting you to be part of our team as we raise money for St Bart’s, Lower Cam, St John’s, Slimbridge and St Bartholomew’s, Coaley.

Whether you choose to walk, cycle or drive, you can follow a circular route between our three beautiful churches, starting from St Bart’s, Lower Cam at 9:30am.

All three churches will be open throughout the day giving you a wonderful opportunity to explore, meet new people and support your local churches.
