We are a young church plant for the Colne Valley, part of The Ark Church Huddersfield, which is a Newfrontiers church. Hope Slawit is starting to gather a new community of Christians, for those in the Colne Valley with a passion to see God’s Holy Spirit move in this valley.

Praying for all those affected by the tragic incident at the Big Church Festival. Praying for God's Holy Spirit to be a great source of comfort and peace, to all those affected, the attendees and the organisers.
It's never easy to talk about death, but for those who love Jesus, death is not the end, it's a doorway to being with Him for eternity. As they grieve, we pray for the friends and family of the man who has passed through this doorway to Heaven. May God's love fill them afresh each day.

This Sunday (28th July) we will be meeting with our wider Ark Church Huddersfield family, over in Longley & Lowerhouses. You are very welcome to join us, the service starts at 10.30am.

The first book of Timothy says we are to pray for those in authority. So this week we pray for all those who have been elected or re-elected into local councils, of every colour, party and faith.

We pray for wisdom and that God would use them to bring His Kingdom on earth.
Micah 6 v 8 says:
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
