Perhaps you are wondering what sort of church we are? We are a warm, welcoming Bible believing Christian Church situated in Skipton, North Yorkshire. We are one of hundreds of churches across the UK that are known as Assemblies of God GB. You might not realise this but there has been a Christian Church at our site on Carleton road since 1908, having many names over the years, Carmel Pentecostal Ch
urch, Skipton Pentecostal Church, Skipton Christian Fellowship and since 2013 we have been known as Champions Church. Pastor Michael has been leading the church since March 2012 and leads the church with his wife JJ. We at Champions Church passionately believe that through faith in Christ we become Champions. We're passionate about being a help and blessing to our local community. We regularly run a great Parent & Toddler Group and host a Christians Against Poverty Job Club. We're also a preferred location for many peoples community groups to meet. Our main worship service we call 'The Main Event' takes place every Sunday 10:30am at our building on Carleton Road in Skipton. Visitors are always made very welcome. Our worship includes modern worship songs and Bible based preaching. We also have our Mini Champions children's programme taking place during the service.
