This week at our 11am service the reading is about Jesus sending out his disciples to heal the sick and proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is near with encouraging words such as "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves" and "Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues." - not exactly comforting and his followers probably felt more than a little daunted. How do we face our own Mission Impossible? That's the theme of this week - come if you dare!

11am Cafe Church - The theme this week is our faith journey - enjoy a freshly brewed coffee and listen to people sharing the reasons they chose to become followers of Jesus. All welcome at either service or every Monday from 10:30- 12 for coffee and home made scones or teacakes.

This Sunday at St A's we celebrate Pentecost.

Pentecost reminds us that God is no longer distant — through the Holy Spirit, He can now dwell within us.

It’s a celebration of God being present in everyday life: bringing peace, strength, wisdom, and hope wherever we are.

Pentecost is a yearly reminder that no matter how tough things get, we are never alone.
