We have a visiting speaker for our 11am service and we are looking at the earth as God's creation. It's our more formal service of Sung Eucharist.
Whether you’re a regular at church, curious about faith, or simply looking for a friendly place to spend Sunday morning, you’ll be very welcome.

A Visit to Bhutan – Friday 11th September St Andrew's 7pm

Join us on Friday at 7pm for an illustrated talk and a chance to hear about a fascinating visit to Bhutan last year — a beautiful and unique country in the Himalayas.

This will be an evening of stories, photographs and insights from the trip. Tea, coffee and cake will be served, and there will also be a collection for the Juniper Trust.

The Juniper Trust works in a low-impact, sustainable way to support some of the poorest communities in the developing world, particularly children, including those in Nepal and Bhutan.

We'd love you to join us for an enjoyable evening and to help support this worthwhile cause.

At St A's this week:
8am Traditional (BCP) Holy Communion
11am Family Service - we start at 10:30am with brunch - this week it will be pastries and coffee.
We finish our People of Hope series by looking at the incredible story of Paul — a man who went from persecuting followers of Jesus to becoming one of His most passionate followers.
A murderer turned messenger, Paul gave up everything — even his own life — to serve the One whose people he had once persecuted.
His story is a powerful reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace, and no life is beyond redemption.
Everyone is very welcome to come along to either service or just to brunch if preferred.

This Sunday at St A's:
8am Matins
11am Cafe Church (yes we are meeting - it was incorrect in the parish mag). This is a relaxed meeting at the back of church with coffee and a chance to discuss the topic. We are looking at Lydia in our people of hope series. When Lydia heard about Jesus, she was open-hearted and ready to receive the message. She believed, and her faith moved her to action—she opened not only her heart, but also her home, welcoming others into her life.

This Sunday we continue our Bible series on ‘People of Hope’ and we’re thinking about Mary - Jesus’ mother. Join us at 11am for Family Communion or 8am for traditional Prayerbook Communion.

At 182 feet tall this new statue of the Virgin Mary is the tallest in Europe and towers over the Polish countryside. Join us this Sunday as we consider what lessons Mary can teach us about ‘Hope’ - the latest in our series on ‘People of Hope in the Bible’. It’s our relaxed Family Communion service at 11am- come as you are - everyone is welcome. (Traditional BCP Communion at 8am).

Sunday 6th of September 4.30pm at St Peter's Church East Marton - Some of the Let's sing crowd and bell ringers from St Andrews are off to hear the bells of St Peter's Church, sing our favourite hymns and join in for a free glass of PIMM's (or soft drink). Everyone is welcome to join us!

This week in our series on people of hope, its' Gideon's turn - a man who describes himself as nothing, someone of no importance but whom God calls "a mighty man". The outcome in that moment depended on who he chose to listen to and the same is often true for us.
