Thank you to everyone who came along to our Oasis Ladies fundraiser on Friday afternoon.☕️🍰

The group raised a fantastic £348 for Wildline Wildlife Sanctuary to go towards the much needed support for the local injured wildlife. 🦉

We will be continuing our series on “God’s Building” looking at 1 Corinthians 14 1-12

The primary age children will be together in their groups hearing from the book of Samuel and the story entitled “David Stands Tall.”

For the preschool children toys and books will be available in the Chancel if they become unsettled during the service.

👑This morning the children heard about King Saul and how he was a leader who did not obey God!

👑They then created beautiful crowns to remind them that God is the only king we need.

👑We’re looking forward to hearing the next part of the story on Sunday.

It’s Pentecost Sunday!

We’d love you to join us today here at StSt Lawrence Church Skellingthorpen this Pentecost Sunday.

We will be sharing communion together and we are delighted once again have Rev Steve Nuth with us to preach on the next part of 1 Corinthians 12.

The primary school children will be together looking at Acts 2 and what happened on the first Pentecost and the preschool children will be able to use the Chancel if they become unsettled during the service.

Looking forward to seeing you all at 10.15am.

💗This morning the children heard the story of Ruth and her love and commitment for her mother-in-law resulting in her staying with her after the death of her husband. And in return how God spread his wings of love and compassion over Ruth and blessed her faithfulness.💗
