This week is National Volunteers Week.
Bobbing Parish Church is thankful for every person who volunteers their time, energy, and care to help our wonderful church thrive.

Our church, like many others, is held together by people of all ages and abilities who serve because they love God, our church, each other, and the community around us. Your kindness shapes the atmosphere we all love and enjoy. Thank you for showing up, for helping, for noticing needs that maybe get missed without you, and for giving what you can.

You make our church feel like home.

With deep sadness, and with the family’s permission, we share that our priest, Rev. Sue Samson, passed away last week. Her family announced her passing last Wednesday, and we have now shared this news with our church community. Sue served Bobbing, Sittingbourne, and all who knew her with faith, kindness, and a steady love that shaped so many lives. She lived for Christ and carried His light into every place she served. We give thanks for her life and ministry, and we hold her family in our prayers as we remember the light she brought to our church, Bobbing, and all who met her.

11 of our wonderful Bobbing Youth (11-18 year olds) got together for a wonderful evening of bowling, pizza, and fun!

Team 1 scored 467 points and J won with an amazing 101 points.

Team 2 scored 423 points and A won with 75 points.

Our teens have asked us to point out that Team 2 didn't have the barriers up 😉 always good for some competition 😂

Join us, this Wednesday, 10am - 12pm for our Coffee Morning back in the church. All ages and abilities are welcome to enjoy a drink and cake and biscuits.

We had another amazing youth-led service this morning 🙌 We ❤️ how much they've grown in confidence. The Youth presented a wonderful 🌿 Eco Service 💚 for Earth Day. 🌏♻️🌳

We finished with a lovely community bring and share. We love that our Youth join many young people in our Diocese to explore their vocation.

Join us for our monthly litter pick on April 18th 10.30am - 12.00pm

We will be meeting at the Grovepark shops to pick litter in the local area and the underpass. Equipment is provided but please do bring your own pickers if you prefer and wear sensible footwear.
