Today our focus was on prayer; how we do/don't do it, what it looks like to us, the meaning it can hold and how it is a perfect expression of our different ways of being.

Bread Church today was missing the fabulous Judith Hall and Angie Carney, so big thanks to Amanda for coming to help bake bread!

Highlights were an Irish soup (minus the potatoes), much excitement over unicorns (the flying kind) and leeks kindly donated from Pippins Community Centre 😁 🥖 🦄 💚

We had lots of fun at low tide today making another Beach Labyrinth in the sunshine.

Julie Wheeler helped plan a different pattern that wandered back and forth a bit more than our previous version… and it proved very lovely to walk ☺️

People have been using labyrinths for quiet contemplation for thousands of years, drawing closer to the Divine and reflecting on the challenges and joys of life.

If you found this one today and walked its paths before the incoming tide washed it all away, we hope it continues to journey with you in quiet, unseen ways.

This Saturday we’ll be helping create another Labyrinth at the western end of Sidmouth Beach.

It’s a lovely low tide and we reckon the sun is going to shine! 🙌🌤️❤️

Everyone welcome to come along and take part in this traditional, mindful experience.
