St Andrew's Shrivenham Restoration Project

It may seem as if the scaffolding has been up forever, but progress is being made with the stonework repairs.
Each piece that has been identified as needing to be replaced has to be cut out and a template made.
This is then taken to the workshop where the new one is cut out of a block of stone before being brought back and fitted into place. All very time consuming, but the end result is looking very good.

Shrivenham Open Gardens Sunday 14th July from 2pm until 5pm.
Map and list of gardens £5.00 from the church and gardens on the day. No charge for accompanied children.
Refreshments will be available in St Andrew’s Church.
