A Prayer for Father's Day
Thank you, God, for all who show a father’s love in our world.
Thank you for those who are special to us.
Be close to those who are sad today.
Help us know that you, our Father, are always close.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

My last Sunday is to be spent at Myddle tomorrow before ordination next weekend. I have loved worshiping with you all in the Benefice and have had opportunities to try new things, like leading online services 😊. I am so grateful that you welcomed me, a relative stranger, into the Benefice, and for your continued support over the last two years.

“Love one another as I have loved you” John 15:12.

“Anything you did for one of the least important of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40

Toddlers, retirees, anywhere in between? from Shrewsbury, Kay says, “Don’t let anything stop you from exploring your vocation, I had misgivings about training due to my age, but was given a Bible passage, Luke 2:25-38, Anna wasn’t too old, and neither was I!”
