You are warmly invited to Back to Church Sunday! If you are thinking about trying church out, or you haven't been in a while, this Sunday is a great chance to come along.

Our Winged Lions Sunday Club is back for a new term, we will have an easy to follow service, and as always a warm welcome for everyone who joins us.

It was lovely to see some of our Winged Lions at the Rising Sun Neighbours Forest Church event today! The children enjoyed decorating stones, making bees and flowers, writing hopes and prayers and creating sheep faces. A lovely afternoon!

Join us tomorrow! Lots of fun activities to keep kids busy before the return to school.

Run out of ideas for the last few days of the school holidays? The Forest Church Team is helping run an Activity Trail in Rising Sun, following the green route, on Tuesday 2-4pm. Pebble painting, sheep mask making and more. Free. You can start anywhere along the route but if not sure, start outside the Countryside Centre.

Thank you to all who came to our Summer Gathering. It was a lovely afternoon! There was lots of fun, food and fellowship! Special thanks to our ‘Head Chef’ Rob for sharing his amazing BBQ skills.

Our Winged Lions 🦁 enjoyed a lovely Summer themed party today- with games and lots of ice cream/ ice lollies!! 🍨 We hope they all have a lovely Summer!

Winged Lions doesn’t run during the Summer Holidays, we will return in September.

Children are always welcome to join in the main Church service and our children’s corner will have activities available throughout the Summer.

Winged Lions enjoyed playing some games today- Jenga, Pop Up Pirate and parachute games! The games allowed us to explore how things respond to pressure or ‘burdens’- the Jenga tower falls and the pirate pops up when it can’t take anymore!! We were thinking about ‘burdens’ and how Jesus asks us to place our burdens and anxieties on him!

Next week it is our Winged Lions Summer party- join us for games, food and lots of fun!!
