This Thursday the 11th June is our next baptism enquiry evening at the church at 6pm for parents and prospective godparents. If you are looking to book a christening at St John's or St Mark's please do join us. There is a short presentation and discussion looking at what it is all about and at the end you can book a date. The evening lasts around 30 minutes.

First Sunday service tonight at 6pm. Informal worship and the chance to watch together the new Bishop of Durham's talk to the Diocese preached this afternoon at his installation in the Cathedral. All welcome!

On Saturday we are hosting Alfie's charity fundraiser in memory of Ruby Bill. Doors open at 12pm. Refreshments, bake sale ,car wash, tombola, general stalls. All money raised will be split between Great North Air Ambulance, If u care share and Quinn's Retreat.

This Saturday, the 9th May, at 2pm - 4pm is our next Messy Church at St John's. This is for primary aged children with their parents or carers. We explore a bible story together, sing some songs, pray together and make lots of crafts around the story. It is good fun and we finish off by having some food together. Everyone welcome.
