Mothers’ Union, Shepshed Branch, held their annual fundraising Tea Dance today in support of Away From it All holidays which provides a holiday for families that otherwise wouldn’t be able to have one.

We have been blown away with the support and a huge thank you to all those who helped today, baked delicious cakes and all those who gave donations.

We have raised over £850 to go towards next year’s holiday so thank you to everyone, it’s all very much appreciated.

St Botolph's Mothers' Union AFIA Charity Tea Dance will be held on

Saturday 15th August from 2pm unti 5pm in the Church Hall.

All proceeds will be donated to MU's Away From It All Holiday Scheme that provides a free holiday at the seaside for needy Leicestershire families.

If you don't want to dance, just come along and enjoy an afternoon of lovely music, good fellowship and a delicious afternoon tea!

Tickets cost £12 and are available from Julie Rock, Glennis Wilcox or Heather Parkinson.
