Today at Coffee Drop-in we were talking about Jesus giving hope to those who feel they are outsiders. Sophie told the story with using some props and shared a lovely prayer from the book: Thoughts to Make Your Heart Sing by Sally Lloyd-Jones & Jago

When you're in the dark or on a narrow path,
you need someone to lead you by the hand,
to hold your hand tight.
You need someone to rely on.

God says we can rely on him:

I've got you by the hand
And I'll never let you go!

No matter where you go,
No matter what you do,
You always have
A hand to hold you.

I will lead you,
Guide you.
Keep you.

Even through death
I won't ever let you go!

Based on Isaiah 42:6

One of the people who came to the drop in also shared that they were worried about some blood tests, but found a white feather and they feel that is God saying to them that everything is going to be ok. That is hope!!!!

Grateful for Asda opening its doors, and making space and opportunity for Sophie to engage with customers, offering blood pressure checks.

It was a pleasure to welcome Sophie to the store where she provided customers with free blood pressure checks and took the time to explain what their readings mean.

Sophie is a community parish nurse based at St Paul’s Church and does fantastic work supporting the health and wellbeing of people in the local community.

The big 300 today. This mornings walk took us up some of the streets around Ecclesfield and the bottom of Wordsworth. Thankful for the many prayer walks over the years!

Meet Ian, our wonderful gardener! 🌿

Ian is taking on the incredible Rat Race "The Wall" challenge – the UK's biggest ultramarathon. He will be covering an astonishing 70 miles through the historic Hadrian's Wall countryside, aiming to complete the challenge in just 26 hours! 🏃‍♂️💪

We're delighted that Ian has chosen St Paul's as the charity he is supporting through this amazing achievement.

Our Family Fun Day is back! Come and join us in the first week of the Summer Holidays, on Wednesday 22nd July 10.30am-1pm; either for the whole morning or pop in for 20 minutes.

We'll have craft, bouncy castle, circus skills and more.

Children and young people need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Today at JAM Club we spoke about when Jesus said "Love one another as i have loved you" we spoke about what this meant to us and how difficult some situation can be.
