We have plant some spring bulbs in the chapel garden in memory of Marjorie and David Cale-Morgan. These are starting to poke through the grass and should give a joyful display in the coming months.

We meet for worship at 2:30pm each Sunday at the Chapel. Everyone is welcome. we are an independent protestant chapel, which means that we don't belong to any denomination.

We are looking for some very talented young people to put on a performance of Handel's Messiah

Traditionally Bullhouse Chapel put on a performance of The Messiah in December each year. The last time this was done was in 2019, just before the pandemic. We would like to revive this but do it differently.

Previously The Messiah at Bullhouse had been lead by a professional music director with professional soloists and musicians and a scratch choir of people from the Pen*stone area who already new the music and brought their own score. This was subsidised by donations from the late Richard Marsden whose funeral was at the chapel last December. This is no longer financially viable and the reservoir of singers who can just turn up with their own script is declining.

Our new plan is to revive these performances of The Messiah but to invite young people who are still in full time education to rehearse The Messiah during the autumn and put on a performance before Christmas. So we are looking for some very talented young people to lead this project. The people we are looking for will be musicians and singers who have the ambition to make a career in teaching and performing music. Are yo that person or do you know of someone who is? We will be meeting at the chapel this Sunday 5th March at 2:30pm to worship God.
The theme of the service will be remembering what really is important. Everybody is welcome.

We have just had a lovely day in the sunshine at Bullhouse Chapel, welcoming visitors to this lovely tranquil place. Looking forward to doing it all again next Sunday.

We have reluctantly decided to delay the return to the chapel until August, due the continuing risks from covid 19.
