Message

The devil is a thief, so when he visits a person or family, his agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy. Unlike the devil, Jesus has come so that you can enjoy abundant life (John 10:10). Today, I want to share some more ways a person who has been delivered from the devil’s bo***ge can maintain his or her freedom and truly enjoy the abundant life that Jesus gives.
It is sad when someone who has been delivered by the mighty hand of God loses his or her liberty because of ignorance, carelessness, or foolishness. People perish when there is no knowledge. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” (Hosea 4:6).
They lose what they have received when they don’t apply the divine principles that are required to sustain it. The Son sets free, and whoever the Son makes free is free indeed (John 8:36).
God doesn’t give temporary deliverance; He gives total freedom, but a fellow who has been set free must learn how to walk on the road of Freedom.
2 Corinthians 3:17 says that where the SPIRIT of the LORD is, there is LIBERTY. Wherever the devil may be operating in, when the SPIRIT of the LORD comes on the scene, freedom comes. To sustain your freedom, however, you must allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in all you do. Let Him be Lord of your thoughts, words, and actions. Where He is Lord, no demon can thrive.
Knowing the truth is another way to maintain your liberty.
John 8:32 says that you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Do you know the truth about Jesus’ payment for your freedom? Are you walking in this truth? To keep walking in freedom, you must know the truth in God’s word and immerse yourself in it so that it fills your heart. His word is the truth, and when you know the truth, it will make you free. This word must become your daily bread. Joshua 1:8 reveals that a major key to having good success in life is meditating on God’s word day and night. To keep the devil perpetually out of your life, let God’s word dwell in you richly in all wisdom (Colossians 3:16).
Job spoke about how highly he esteemed the word of God in Job 23:12. Beloved, how important is God’s word to you? How highly do you esteem God’s instructions and directions? If you want to sustain the liberty you have received from God, you must allow Jesus Christ to be your Lord and place topmost priority on God’s word.

Key Point

To maintain your freedom, you must know the truth, surrender to the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and meditate on God’s word constantly.

Message

I have observed over the years that there are two major categories of victims who are entrapped in the devil’s bo***ge. The first category are the victims who are not aware that they have been entrapped by the devil, while the second category are those who are fully aware.
Within this second category, there are two major sets of people: those who want to be set free and those who do not.
Today, I will be discussing the set of victims who know that they are in bo***ge but do not want to be set free. It may sound strange that some victims do not want to be set free from bo***ge, but from today’s Bible reading and my personal experience, many people actually fall into this category.
For example, I have met witches who like the fact that they are witches and don’t want to be set free. I recall a particular incident that occurred years ago. A married couple started attending our Church hurch, but after a short while, the wife stopped coming. When we followed up with her, she told us that since she started coming to our Church, she had been unable to fly to her witchcraft meetings at night. Since she wanted to continue flying to her meetings, she stopped coming. Deliverance was available to her, but she preferred to be in bo***ge.
In another instance, another woman, who was a witch, came to our Church, and we prayed for her to be delivered. When nothing happened, she told us, why are you praying for me to be delivered? This is the power I use to control my husband such that he drives me to my boyfriend’s house, waits for me in the car, and when I am done having fun with my boyfriend, he drives me back home. Do you want me to lose that power?” She held on to her bo***ge even though deliverance was available to her.
If God wants to set someone free from bo***ge, but the person does not want to accept HIS OFFER, then they will remain in bo***ge, since that is what the fellow wants. Such a person is a willing captive, and even if the person is forcefully delivered but does not submit to God he or she will be recaptured and repossessed again (Matthew 12:43-45).
IN Tomorrow, I will discuss how you can ensure that a willing slave of the devil is unable to harm you and how you can possibly compel them to seek deliverance.

Key Point

Those who are in bo***ge and refuse to accept Jesus’ offer of deliverance are at risk of eternal condemnation.

Message

As we see in today’s memory verse, God places the anointing on a man’s head. However, a man’s hands are the conductors of that ANOINTING.
In 1 Samuel 17:34-37, David smote the lion and the bear with his hands. With his hand also, he held the sling that brought Goliath down (1 Samuel 17:49).
In Judges 14:5-6, Samson was going down to Timnath when a lion roared at him. The anointing came on him, and he tore the lion in half with his bare hands.
In Judges 15:14-15, it was also Samson’s hands that grabbed the jawbone of an ass and turned it into a weapon of mass destruction
An anointed person’s head is like an electricity generator, and the fellow’s hands can be likened to wires that conduct electricity to where it is needed. The anointing on a person’s head determines the power the fellow carries in his or her hands.
One day, I was in a store abroad buying books, and as is my custom, I was singing choruses while picking the books off the shelves. After a while, a man came to me smiling, and he said, “It must be such a lovely day, seeing how happily you are singing.” I laughed and shook his hand because he had extended it for a handshake. As he turned to leave, he exclaimed, “What just happened? It is gone!” Apparently, he had been suffering a backache for years, but as he shook my hand, the pain disappeared. A casual handshake resulted in a miracle because my hands conducted the ANOINTING upon my head into the needed vessel.
Beloved, you need GOD’S ANOINTING upon your head if you want His power to flow through your hands. You must spend quality time in fellowship with God so that He will anoint you.
When God ANOINTS You, You will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. As a believer, your hands must be actively doing GOD’S WORK. When you see sick People, lay hands on them. Don’t withdraw your hands from doing GOD’S WORK because the ANOINTING you carry will remain dormant if your hands are not taking it to where it is needed. The more you lay hands on the sick, the more demand you will place on the ANOINTING upon Your Life, and the more it will grow. As the ANOINTING upon your life grows, GOD will TRUST you to handle bigger things because HE KNOWS that Your Hands will Deliver the things that HE WANTS to do.

Bible Reading

John 9:1-7:�
1 And as JESUS passed by, HE saw a man which was blind from his birth.�2 And HIS Disciples asked him, saying, MASTER, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?�3 JESUS answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.�4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.�5 As long as I AM in the World, I AM the LIGHT of the World.
6 When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he ANOINTED the eyes of the blind Man with the clay,�7 And SAID unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came Seeing.

Message

When people claim to be good at something, they need to prove it by doing that thing remarkably well. When they do this, people will pay attention to them.
Beloved, complaining that people do not notice your talents will achieve no result. Instead, prove your abilities by doing whatever you can from wherever you are, no matter how small it may seem. Soon, people will see your light and come to the brightness of your rising (Isaiah 60:1-3).
You can be very talented; however, if you don’t work hard and use your talent, people won’t take notice. Today’s memory verse says that you should let your light shine for people to see your good works and glorify your heavenly Father. Did you notice the word ‘works’ in that verse? You must work for people to see you.
Someone showed me a newspaper article in which a reporter was making a joke about the miracles God has performed in my life. The Person who showed me the article said, “Daddy, what’s your comment?” I told him that I had no comment. I don’t have any comments about such jokes because I am too busy doing GOD’S WORK, and I can’t be distracted by trivial issues.
Today’s Bible reading tells the story of a man who was born blind. When Jesus’ disciples started to debate about whose sin caused the man’s predicament, Jesus redirected their attention to what was important. He told them,�“I must WORK the WORKS of HIM that SENT ME, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” Then, He spat on the ground, made some mud out of the clay, anointed the man’s eyes, and told him to go and wash in the pool of Siloam – the blind man returned with brand-new eyes. JESUS went about doing the work of the FATHER throughout HIS HUMAN MINISTRY; HE was so busy doing GOOD, that everywhere HE went, People took note of HIM and followed HIM.
Beloved, when you go about doing the work of the ONE0P who sent you, you will become like a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden and a candle on a candlestick that gives light to everyone in a house (Matthew 5:14-15).
People might not like a light bulb’s design, but nobody can ignore its importance. If you want to be so relevant that people cannot do without your unique contributions, let your Light shine by focusing on doing the WORK that GOD has committed into Your Hands.
