We've had a brilliant afternoon at Rainbow Forge school with 15 lovely Y 3s and 4s as we continue to develop gardening activities. The children worked so hard planting seeds and plants and filling deep beds with soil. The school have just been awarded a Tesco grant to buy new equipment for the grounds so we are looking forward to more fantastic outdoor experiences. Just to add that the children rose to the Rocket challenge as they tried it for the first time. The seeds planted a few weeks ago have grown into peppery salad leaves!

We'll be celebrating Trinity Sunday tomorrow, gathering at 10am for our Holy Communion service. Everyone is welcome to join us - there will be fun activities provided for children to complete during the service 😀. Stay for a cuppa, a sweet treat and a natter afterwards - we would love you to join us!

As part of the Explore week I m going to be leading a three mile walk on Saturday 30th may . We will meet at Birley Spa bathhouse on Birley Spa Lane at 2.30pm. we are going to walk to Normanton Hill and then back along Shirebrook. You will learn about the Birley mine disaster and the forgotten mines and industry in our part of Sheffield.

During this week we aim to open our places of worship to the public and provide a warm welcome to those wishing to visit and explore.

Tomorrow is Pentecost where we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit sent by God. We'll be gathering for our Cafe Church service at 10am where we'll share breakfast and worship together. This is a relaxed and friendly service which is suitable for all so why not come along and join us? We can't wait to welcome you! 😀

We'll be gathering at 10am tomorrow for our Holy Communion service where we'll be thinking about the ascension of Jesus into Heaven 40 days after Easter.
We'll also incorporate our annual church meeting into the service where we'll be reflecting on the past year and looking forward to new and exciting plans for the coming year.
Everyone is welcome - come and join us! 😀

Join us at 10am tomorrow for our All Age service! We'll be thinking about the characteristics of God and enjoying some lively worship 😀 All are welcome - there will be activities for children and everyone can enjoy refreshments in the church hall following the service.
