Whirlow Spirituality Centre is a place to be still, find rest and meet with God in a busy and often confusing world. Whirlow aims to honour your story, spiritual identity and journey. Opening hours for our office and library are as advertised, during term time and with the exception of Bank Holidays. Events are often on at other times. Please get in touch if unsure!

As of today (Monday) the pavements around the centre remain challenging to walk on. The drive and Centre pathways have been cleared but there is limited car-parking available. We encourage those coming to Whirlow to exercise sensible caution when on site.

Our wonderful volunteer Andy has been hard at work! Please be aware that there may be fewer car park spaces available tomorrow for Reflective Communion, and that the roads around the Centre are still a little tricky to navigate. For those of you who choose to walk, we can promise hot coffee and biscuits will be ready for you, as well as our toasty underfloor chapel heating!

SPACE TO REFLECT CANCELLED DUE TO SNOW

Unfortunately, conditions at the Centre and on the roads means that tonight's Space to Reflect cannot go ahead.
We hope you can reflect on the beauty of the snow from the (hopefully) warmth of your own home. Stay safe and we hope to see you after the thaw!

Contemplative Dialogue is this Sunday, but what is it?

Contemplative Dialogue is designed to facilitate a non-threatening, ‘safe place’ for open sharing and discussion on a given input. The focus is on listening to ourselves and others, rather than formulating a response to what is being said. It can help participants notice their own thinking in periods of silence, and hear others’ thinking as they speak.
