Laiser Rahman Ustad Ji Sahib, the father of Shabir Ahmad and Naseer Ahmad, Brother in Law of Haji Mohammed Salim And Haji Altaf Rehman, has sadly passed away in Pakistan.

There will be a one-time Dua after Magrib Salaah today (Monday 7th September).
Dua will be held at Industry Road Mosque Darnall

Men only and no out of town dua.

It is prayed that Almighty Allah forgive the deceased, grant him a high مقام in Jannat-ul-Firdous (the highest Paradise), and grant the bereaved family beautiful patience.

“Indeed, to Allah belongs what He has taken, and to Him belongs what He has given. Everything with Him has an appointed term. So be patient and hope for a reward.”
(Narrated by al-Bukhari 1/171 and Muslim 1/630)

IMPORTANT MJM JUMU’AH NOTICE!

Following on from the passing away of Marhoom Haji Azar Iqbal’s mother, we have a ta’ziyat Majlis for women (in the masjid extension) at the same time of our Jumu’ah. Plus 2 classrooms not in use due to ongoing renovation work. This means spaces for first Jumu’ah will be considerably restricted. To ensure ease for oneself as well as others, please kindly note the following:

1. Try to walk or car share when coming for Jumu’ah
2. ⁠If coming in car, then try to park appropriately on any side road
3. ⁠AVOID parking inappropriately in masjid car park or outside eg double yellow lines, driveway etc
4. ⁠Arrive as early as possible and occupy the front rows first filing in any empty spaces
5. ⁠Please DO NOT stand in the shoe rack / entrance area for your Jumu’ah salāh!

Please note that once the masjid is full, you will be advised to offer your salāh either at another masjid or return to MJM for our second Jumu’ah at 5.30pm.

Most importantly please kindly exercise patience during this very busy period.
