St Mark's, Broomhill and Broomhall St Mark’s is an open, welcoming church for people from all walks of life.

St Mark’s is affiliated to Inclusive Church and the Progressive Church Network and we are committed to fostering a spirit of openness, generosity and inclusivity. The parish is located on the west side of Sheffield within easy access of the city centre and open countryside. The outcome of pastoral reorganisation in 1998, it comprises two distinct communities – Broomhall and Broomhill. Broomhall is

full of contrasts, embracing rich ethnic diversity and a range of housing stock. Hosting faculties of Sheffield Hallam University, it is well-served by local groups committed to ensuring difference is a source of enrichment rather than the grounds for discontent. Broomhill, incorporating Sheffield University, teaching hospitals and a number of schools, supports a large student and professional population served by a vibrant culture of shops, services and amenities, as well as by community groups seeking to improve the quality of living for residents.
