Yesterday we marked Good Friday together, as a church family, and together with other churches in the city centre. Today is a day of waiting. Tomorrow we will celebrate Jesus' resurection, by defeating death he has gifted us the hope of eternal life and freedom today.

It was beautiful to gather with people from across Sheffield and the wider region to worship King Jesus.

Seeing St John's full was so special - and our prayer is that it would be filled with local people worshiping Jesus, whose lives have been transformed by him!

✨ We’re Hiring! Church Administrator (Part-Time) ✨

St John’s Park is looking for a warm, organised and motivated Church Administrator to help support the life and mission of our church.

This is a key role at the heart of our community — managing office administration, coordinating bookings and enquiries, supporting Church of England processes for weddings, baptisms and funerals, and being a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and members of the church.

🕒 20 hours per week
💷 £25,500 pro rata

We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ Strong organisational and IT skills
✔️ Excellent communication
✔️ A heart to see the church and community flourish

If you enjoy helping things run smoothly and love serving people, we’d love to hear from you.

Today is the last day before Lent, a season of reflection, prayer, and preparation as we journey toward Easter.

We’d love for you to join us tomorrow at 7:30 for a contemplative Ash Wednesday service as we mark the beginning of Lent together.
