St Chad's Sheffield St Chad's is a lively, family-friendly church in Woodseats, south Sheffield.

We are part of the Church of England and have two services each Sunday - a 9am service of Holy Communion and an 11am service of informal and contemporary worship.

There's just a week to go until our Have a Go Show which takes place next Saturday, September 12.

The event is designed to celebrate community creativity and fun, and will be raising money for Work Ltd which provides life skills and occupational training for people with learning disabilities.

This new post is being offered in partnership with the Diocese of Sheffield’s initiative, The Centenary Project.

We are looking for a committed Christian to join our team who has experience in working with children and their families who will bring vision, creativity and energy among this ministry.

The post covers:
• 24 hours per week (flexible terms of working considered)
• Starting salary £17,472 – £19,968 (£27,300 – £31,200 FTE)
• 5 Year fixed-term contract

We'd love to welcome you to St Chad's this summer! Tomorrow we have services at 9am and 11am.
At 9am there will be our traditional service of Holy Communion and then at 11am we have our more contemporary service.

August is the hardest month...
Like most foodbanks, our food donations don't come in evenly throughout the year and August is the month with the lowest donations. We understand - lots of our supporters are away and so they're not shopping for us. But that means we have to buy an extra 250kg of food each week, just to keep going (we already spend over £1000 on food and other essential items each week). If you could buy an extra tin or packet this week (19p tins of spaghetti hoops are very welcome!) it would really help us out.
