Today was Palm Sunday. Our reading of Matthew was covered in the wide array of different languages members of our congregation can speak. Pictured is the procession outside led by our choir.

Next Thursday at 7pm is our Maundy Thursday meal. All are welcome for a meal of bread, wine and dips in our church hall. Easter Sunday will be a holy communion.

✝️ New Archdeacon announced for Sheffield and Rotherham

The Rt Revd Dr Pete Wilcox, Bishop of Sheffield, has appointed the Revd Canon David Gerrard as the next Archdeacon of Sheffield and Rotherham. David is currently serving in the Diocese of Leeds, Church of England, and will be installed as the new Archdeacon in a service at Sheffield Cathedral in the Autumn.

Congratulations to the new Bishop of Wakefield, he will be missed in Sheffield.

The Archdeacon of Sheffield and Rotherham, the Venerable Malcolm Chamberlain, has been officially announced as the next Bishop of Wakefield.

Malcolm, who has been an Archdeacon in the Diocese of Sheffield since 2013, will undertake a series of engagements around Wakefield today ahead of a consecration in June.
