Woodseats Methodist Church Woodseats Methodist Church has served the community of Woodseats since 1916.

As well as a welcoming worshipping community many community groups use our premises throughout the week.

The 'Helping Our Ukranian Friends' are a charity based in Dronfield who make regular trips to Ukraine to deliver humanitarian aid.

If you feel able to contribute to this worthy cause, donations can be left at Woodseats Methodist Church, via the entrance at the top of the steps on Holmhirst Road. There is a box for donations in the entrance hall, unfortunately access is only possible if one of our user groups are using the hall - the times are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 11am, Thursday 2 to 4pm and Friday 9.30 to 11am, except Friday 29th May

Items can also be left at the church entrance on Mitchell Road on Wednesday from 10 to 11.30am, when we also accept donations for the Grace Foodbank at Lowedges

Donations for the Ukranian appeal can only be accepted until the 14th June as the items will be taken to Ukraine in July

We at Woodseats Methodist Church host many children's birthday parties, most of which hire a bouncy castle! It was wonderful today to introduce Sheffield Inflatable's latest castle which features two dinosaurs - the little boy who's 5th birthday party it was today loves dinosaurs so was so excited - the castle also has lights!!!!

Please join us at Woodseats Methodist Church for our Beetle Drive and Pie and Pea supper! It is on Saturday 11th April at 7pm - Tickets are £6 for adults and £3 for children under 12. There's also a raffle! The proceeds are going to the Methodist charity Mission in Britain. Tickets are available from Pat on 0114 2746931

Our annual Christingle and Carol Service is on Sunday 21st December at 2pm. However, please come along at 1.15 pm if you'd like to make a Christingle to light during the service. Our 'Saints Alive' puppets will be making an appearance and there will also be an interactive Nativity. Refreshments will be served after the service so please come if you can! You can be assured of a warm welcome

We would like to invite you to our Christmas Messy Church - it's on Saturday 13th December from 10 am to 12 noon - we welcome primary school age children and we will have a soft play area for babies and toddlers. There will be lots of Christmas themed crafts, in the large hall. Later in the morning, our popular puppet team Saints Alive will lead a short time of worship in church.
Even if you don't want to join in with the crafts, we will be serving Refreshments from 10 am - we are supporting the Methodist Charity - Action for Children - so any donations will be welcomed.
