'I hope to be able to spend time with people who are lonely, isolated, grieving, anxious, or just need someone to talk to; signposting them to services that can support them on their journey.'

Eleanor Swift is the new Parish Nurse at the Attercliffe and Darnall Centre of Mission, where she will be working with an exciting team in a diverse area.

Today the Sun was shining lots of people in the garden chatting laughing as the children played. Inside around the coffee table, we looked at Sheffield’s past.

For some of the children to water the fruit and veg were growing.

Great to see a pic of kinder chilling and not taking a photo. Thanks Louise Hurle

Church on Thursday called “Create”

This morning a few of us ok bed the final weeks till the summer break. We are going though the gospel of mark and the stories of Jesus.

Our heart is to come and learn through different ways to be more like Jesus in how we live, look Out for each other, sing pray and eat together.

A place where we all together make it happen and give financially what we can.

Thankful to support from church of Christ via Erica and St John’s park via Wachira.

Today we had a bbq at our comunity meal. The sun was shining so we were in the garden. Eddie showed us his Bible he carries with him as a reminder that God is always close.

Today we looked at the 3rd mark of mission. / Respond to Human Need by Loving Service (Care for people in practical ways)

Christians believe love should be shown through action—especially towards those in need.

We made badges. Write cards to give to people who are homeless in the city.

We bakes cookies to give to the homeless over the weekend and the youth provided the cookies for them.

We sang prayed and ate soup and sandwiches. Thai to all who helped run church today

Great to have Erica from
Church Of Christ in Darnall with St Albans Festival Church and Dominic and Kirsty StJohnspark from St John's Park Church Sheffield helping.

Christians believe their faith isn’t just something private—it shapes how they live and act in the world.

The Five Marks of Mission are five ways the Church lives this out:

Simple one-line summary:

“We share Jesus, help people grow in faith, care for others, stand up for justice, and protect the world.”

It was great to gather with some of the youth from Church. We make cookies. Two types.

We discussed Matthew 1-12. Jesus being tempted and resisted. We discussed temptation and how we make decisions to help us.

We all planned one of our church services around temptation.
