WHY WE KEEP SPEAKING.

Because someone is living through abuse and doesn’t even have the words to explain what’s happening.

Because someone thinks enduring pain is the same as being a good wife, a good husband, or a good Christian.

Because someone is watching a child struggle and doesn’t know the warning signs.

And because someone, somewhere, is trying to rebuild a life after years of being told they were worthless.

We speak because silence can protect the abuse, not the person experiencing it.

We educate so people can recognize the signs.
We raise awareness so survivors know they are not alone.
We create conversations because change begins when we stop pretending these things don’t happen.

Inspired Women Foundation will keep speaking.

Until women and children can live free from abuse, we will not be silent.

📌 Follow us.
📌 Start the conversation.

Someone may need these words today. ❤️

GOD HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU. 🤍

Maybe this season feels confusing.

You’ve prayed. You’ve waited. You’ve tried to stay strong. Yet somehow, it feels like nothing is changing.

But please remember this: silence does not mean God is absent.

Just because you cannot see what He is doing does not mean He is not working.

That closed door may be protection.
That delay may be preparation.
That difficult season may be building something in you that you’ll need for where you’re going.

Don’t give up because your story hasn’t changed yet.

Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep becoming. 🙏🏽

What God has started in your life is not finished.

Your story is still being written. And one day, you may look back and realize that even in the moments when you thought God had forgotten you, He was preparing you all along. ❤️

If this spoke to you, send it to someone who needs this reminder today.

Please check on the woman everyone calls “strong.” 🤍

She’s always there for everyone.

The one giving advice.
The one saying, “You’ll be fine.”
The one showing up, even when she has nothing left to give.

But sometimes, the woman who keeps pouring into everyone else is quietly running empty.

She may not ask for help.
She may not say she’s tired.
She may even smile and tell you, “I’m good.”

But that doesn’t always mean she is.

Sometimes, she just needs someone to sit beside her and ask:

“How are you — really?”

Because being strong doesn’t mean she doesn’t need support too.

So today, check on that woman.
Not because she asked.
But because you care.

Send this to a strong woman in your life and tell her:

“I see you.

A Message from Our Founder & CEO

Dear Friends,
Welcome to September.

There comes a time in every journey when healing must begin to make room for movement. We cannot change what has happened to us, but we can decide that our past will not have the final word over our future.

This month, I want to encourage you to walk boldly in your purpose.
Perhaps you have spent years doubting yourself. Perhaps trauma, rejection, disappointment, abuse, or the words of others caused you to question your worth and silence parts of who you are. Perhaps you have been waiting until you feel completely ready before taking your next step.
But purpose does not require perfection.
Sometimes courage simply looks like taking the next step while trusting God with what you cannot yet see.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us:
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
At Inspired Women Foundation, we believe that healing is not only about recovering from what happened to you. It is also about rediscovering who you are, recognising the strength within you, and believing that your life still carries meaning and purpose.

So this September, give yourself permission to move forward.
Apply for the opportunity. Start the course.
Develop the idea. Ask for help.
Establish the boundary. Use your voice.
Return to the dream you abandoned.
Take the small step that you have been afraid to take.
You do not need to see the whole journey before taking the next step.
And as we prepare to gather women this September through our EmpowerHer work, my hope is that we will continue building a community where women do not merely survive difficult experiences, but are supported to heal, rebuild, grow, and thrive.
Your past may be part of your story.
But it does not have to become the limit of your future.

This month, walk with courage. Walk with faith. Walk knowing that you are valuable, your voice matters, and there is still purpose ahead of you.
Walk boldly in your purpose.
With hope and every blessing,

Healing isn’t always visible. 💜
Sometimes the greatest progress is happening quietly in the boundaries you finally set, the rest you allow yourself to take, and the decision to keep going one day at a time.
You don’t have to heal all at once.
Save this for the days when you need the reminder. 💜

Faith should never become a reason someone stays silent about abuse.

Prayer is powerful. Forgiveness matters. Marriage matters. But none of these should ever be used to pressure someone to remain in harm, excuse abusive behaviour or protect appearances over safety.

Healthy faith should lead us towards compassion, truth, accountability, safeguarding and protection.

Churches and faith communities should be places where survivors can speak without fear of being blamed, shamed or silenced.

We can honour faith and still take abuse seriously.

Until she is safe from abuse, we will not be silent.

Trauma can affect the way you see yourself.
It can make you believe that you are difficult to love, that your voice does not matter or that you must constantly please others to feel safe.
After living in survival mode for long enough, you may begin to mistake the person you became to survive for the person you truly are.
But your trauma is something that happened to you it is not your identity.
Healing is the gradual journey of separating who you are from what you endured and rediscovering the person who was always there beneath the fear.

Having boundaries does not make you difficult.
You are allowed to say no without feeling guilty. You are allowed to protect your time, your wellbeing and your emotional safety.
The people who respect you may not always agree with your boundaries, but they will learn to honour them.
A boundary is not rejection it is clarity about what you can accept and what you need to remain well.
Save this video and share it with someone who needs permission to choose their peace. 💜

Silence can become a powerful tool for abuse.
When manipulation, charm or victim-blaming causes people to doubt a survivor, the person causing harm can remain protected while the survivor is left unheard.
At Inspired Women Foundation, we believe in creating communities where women are listened to, supported and empowered to speak without fear.
Believe the survivor. Support the truth. Protect the children.
Together, we can challenge the silence that allows abuse to continue.
Until She Is Safe From Abuse, We Will Not Be Silent. 💜
