An excellent Ascension Day walk and service on Thursday, from Stainforth up through the steep woodland path to Lower Winskill, taking in the array of Spring flowers on the way. We largely managed to escape the rain as we shared food and then enjoyed our service together.

Do join us as we make our way up to Lower Winskill for our Ascension day service. We will share a picnic together first and have a wander to see the wildflowers that are out at the moment, including the early purple orchids. Optionally we will meet in Stainforth and walk on the steep woodland path to the farm, taking in the spring flowers. We would love you to join us. (There are toilets and there is shelter should it rain hard!). The clouds will simply add authenticity!!

A brilliant “Journey to the Cross” around Settle this morning. Huge well done to all of those who took part, and especially Sally for her Directing and organising & Paul for his very special portrayal of Jesus. The whole thing was a very moving story of the passion of Christ.

Our Easter Services are as follows: -

7pm - Maundy Thursday, Holy Communion & Remembering

10:30am - Good Friday, Passion Play begins from St John's and winds it's way through the streets and town square.

7:00pm - Good Friday, Service of Light and Darkness

10:30am - Easter Sunday, Morning Service of Celebration, remembering the resurrection of Christ and the hope of our faith.

Do join us through this Easter season as we walk with Jesus through his Passion, death, resurrection and beyond.

Any donations will be for Water Aid.
Take one of our Jars for Change. Fill it with spare coins and bring it back next week. We'll make sure it goes where it's needed most - where water is really scarce.
