Happy Creationtide! (1 Sept -4 Oct)
The first poster explains Creationtide / The Season of Creation. In order to celebrate the Season of Creation, Churches Together in Settle and District is in the process of making a series of A1 posters, one from each church, showing something that that church has done to look after God's Creation - the World which the next generation will inherit.

If your church (in/near Settle) would like to display the A1 display boards for a few days please Judith know. (Or even just borrow the extra set of A3 posters.)

An excellent Ascension Day walk and service on Thursday, from Stainforth up through the steep woodland path to Lower Winskill, taking in the array of Spring flowers on the way. We largely managed to escape the rain as we shared food and then enjoyed our service together.

Do join us as we make our way up to Lower Winskill for our Ascension day service. We will share a picnic together first and have a wander to see the wildflowers that are out at the moment, including the early purple orchids. Optionally we will meet in Stainforth and walk on the steep woodland path to the farm, taking in the spring flowers. We would love you to join us. (There are toilets and there is shelter should it rain hard!). The clouds will simply add authenticity!!

We are celebrating Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s 80th anniversary with an Open Garden day on Wednesday 6th May. Our regular coffee morning will be extended and tea, coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the day and we would love to see you.
