Happy birthday, Early Risers - it's our 3rd birthday today! 🎂

This month's story was The Road to Emmaus and we had fun joining in with all the walking and talking!

We also thought about some important meals for Jesus and his friends - the meal at Emmaus and the Last Supper. Rev Stephen explained how Jesus asked us to share bread and wine with our friends and to remember him when we do so. Then we all shared Holy Communion together and remembered how Jesus loves us and promises to always be with us.

After worship we enjoyed some fun crafts in the hall (and delicious cake, of course!) - you can see them in the photos below.

Today, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate Jesus' resurrection three days after His death on the cross.

May the risen Christ fill your soul with joy today.
May you live as one who has seen the empty tomb and cannot keep the good news to yourself.
