We’re officially on the move and several services are already up and running in their new home.

****Announcement****

The Bishop of Durham is delighted to announce that the Revd Hannah Raitt has been appointed as the new Incumbent for the parishes of Easington Village, Easington Colliery and Hawthorn, subject to DBS and the usual checks.

The date of licensing is still being finalised, we are anticipating a September induction. We are looking forward to welcoming Hannah, Fraser and their family to the Diocese over the summer, ready for the children to start school in September

Hannah is currently serving as Interim Urban Pioneer Minister in the Benefice of Bankfoot and Bowling, Bradford. Hannah trained at Cranmer and served in Shotton as part of that training, so has already a good knowledge of the area.

Please pray for Hannah, Fraser and their family, as they prepare to move and start this new phase of life and ministry.

Reminder: Easter Sunday St Michael's is returning to Communion as usual..... Congregation lining the sanctuary step, and sharing a common cup. (The temporary arrangements made for covid are now ceased).
If you feel uncomfortable with a common cup you may take 'communion in one kind' by bread/wafer only,without receiving any less.
