We've had a joyful day out and about from Stanley Street Church, it began with a visit to take assemblies at Seaham Trinity Primary School in the morning where we thought about the parable of the sower.
After lunch we had a great time at Stockton Lodge Care Home , Seaham with the residents and staff joining in the singing, clapping, actions and toe-tapping. Our own Betty, at 95, did a wonderful job reading a beautiful poem. As always. Jimmy Collings had the keyboard bouncing as he played for the songs and we all enjoyed his solo.
It was then good to see the children at New Seaham Academy for their assembly when we thought about the rainbow which shows God's promise and that we need to keep our promises. We still have our Bible Study on Zoom before we can finally rest.

We had a fantastic Family Fun time at Stanley Street Church with our light party. The children sat and listened carefully that Jesus is the Light of the world and can light us up. They enjoyed making pumpkin pictures with painted hands, even the tiniest hand joined in. There were lots of crafts and games as well as food. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a great time.
