Takbir-e-Tashreeq
Dhul Hijjah 1447 (2026)

​As we enter the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, here is a helpful guide and timetable for reciting the Takbeer Tashreeq.

​Key Guidelines to Remember:
- ​Start: Tuesday, 26th May (9th Dhul Hijjah) starting from Fajar salah.
- ​End: Saturday, 30th May (13th Dhul Hijjah) ending after Asar salah.

It *MUST* be recited once after every Fardh Salah. Men should recite it audibly, and women should recite it softly.

Scunthorpe Central Mosque is proud to be working in partnership with Community VISION for the Cadent Center For Warm Project to raise awareness about carbon monoxide (CO) safety and healthy eating.

The aim is to educate people about the dangers of CO, especially during summer months and while using outdoor appliances.

📦 As part of this initiative, we have:
• Free Carbon Monoxide Monitors (for homeowners only)
• Free Slow Cookers (1 per household)

🛡 If you have health, communication, or safety needs, you may be eligible for free extra support from your energy, gas, electricity, and water companies through the Priority Services Register (PSR).
