Today marks the beginning of the Season of Creation which runs from 1st September to 4th October. As a Silver Award Eco Church we are looking forward to celebrating the Church of England's newest annual Festival this Sunday which has recently been approved and named "Creation in Christ", emphasising that creation is understood through the person and work of Jesus Christ: created through him, sustained in him and destined for renewal in him.

Tomorrow morning at 10am we will be thinking about God’s abundance as we reflect on the feeding of the 5,000 in a service of Holy Communion.
In the afternoon at 4pm we will then think about Trust and Jesus calming the storm.
You are most welcome to join us for either or both of these services. 🌈🌈

Today we mark International Nelson Mandela Day.

Madiba believed that each of us has the power to make a difference. Whether through service, compassion or standing alongside others, every act matters.

At a time when many people continue to face poverty and inequity, no act of service is too small, and no contribution is without value.

This year, we are reminded that it is still in our hands to combat poverty and inequity.
