We are excited to host this conference in September by Alma Autism – a faith-based initiative equipping churches to better understand, include, and support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

Rooted in compassion and guided by the love of Christ, Alma Autism provide resources, training, and community connections to help church communities and congregations become more inclusive and welcoming to all.

We’re running a 3-day creative programme over Easter for young people aged 7–16, based at Connect Church in Scunthorpe.

Across the three days, participants will learn the basics of puppeteering – including movement, character and voice – and then work together to create their own 90s-style breakfast show. This could include interviews, news, weather, music and entertainment, depending on what the group decides.

Young people can choose how they take part. They might want to perform using puppets, or work behind the scenes creating props, designing sets, making posters, or supporting the technical side of the show.

Sessions are practical, creative and collaborative, with a focus on building confidence, teamwork and communication skills.

Free hot meal provided each day

🌟Puppet’s Got Talent 2026🌟

What a wonderful evening we had celebrating every young person and their puppet creativity!
We had live singing, skits, prerecorded and edited creations!

We loved having our very own Simon cowell aka Jay Kingman and experienced puppeteer Lois to judge the acts and give feedback!

We are so, so proud of all the young people, (not all pictured) who have grown in confidence and skill! Our favourite part is seeing friendships made and for Puppet Club to be a supportive space for young people be their unique selves!

Thank you to all our team who make this youth club possible and to Positive Activities North Lincolnshire for funding our equipment and sessions with The Dancing Tiger Scrapstore CIC.

✝️Easter is on its way!
Tomorrow we have our monthly Family Inclusive Church at 6pm at Connect Church, Ashby Road, Scunthorpe!
All are welcome. We provide a safe, supportive and non- judgmental environment for families with any additional needs, disabilities, mental health difficulties and trauma.
We will be learning from the bible using sensory trays. 🩷
We hope to see you there!

🌳Inclusive Church - ‘Jesus loves the lonely. ‘The story of Zacchaeus from Luke 19.

🌳Zacchaeus may have felt left out, unliked, lonely or different.
He was also very short, and people would not let him see Jesus- so he climbed a sycamore tree.

🌳He did not care if people laughed at him.
He just wanted to see Jesus!

🌟What did Jesus do?
He called Zacchaeus by name!
Jesus chose Zacchaeus — even though others did not! ” Come down. I am coming to your house today!”

🌟Even if others ignore you, Jesus sees you!

🌟Jesus Knows Your Name!
You are not invisible to Him.

🌟Jesus Loves the Lonely
Zacchaeus was not popular — but he was loved and that means He loves you too.
