From Truman Cannings acting on behalf of Scotter Chapel

Hi all,

Most of you will be aware that Scotter Chapel run a foodbank for the Salvation Army in Gainsborough. Due to government guidelines those who usually run the foodbank are currently unable to do so. I have therefore volunteered to run the foodbank this Friday 9:30am - 11am. We will be operating a one way system with ample distancing and only allowing one person in at a time to ensure everyone’s safety. I will look to continue the foodbank going forward but this will depend on my own work.

As I’m sure everyone can appreciate in times like these foodbanks are sadly becoming even more of a requirement. The items that they are in real need of at present are:

- Long life milk
- Jams
- Tinned rice pudding
- Pasta

Obviously any other food items would be gratefully received.

Sadly they are finding they are producing more and more family packs. Therefore any items for children would also be of real help, such as:

- Jelly
- Sweets
- Biscuits etc

Thanks

My husband, David and all 3 sons are going to share, literally a 'mountain top experience and challenge together and whilst doing so are all raising money for various charities.
David wishes to raise money for his local community and in particular the Club where he plays the sport he loves, but also the Scotter Methodist Chapel - a place very close to my Christian journey and belief in a loving God for all people.
Please read his story below by following the link provided and all donations very gratefully received.
Thank you for your time everyone - the challenge is on for them!!

Weʼre raising money to fund the refurbishing of Scotter Tennis Club's facilities.. Support this JustGiving Crowdfunding Page.
