PILGRIMAGE IN HONOUR OF ST MARGARET CLITHEROW & THE YORK MARTYRS on Monday 31 August: Bar Convent chapel & garden open from 9am where & the hand of St Margaret can be venerated (17 Blossom Street, York, YO24 1AQ). Procession from Micklegate Bar 10.45am, along sites of St Margaret’s life and death. Mass at the Oratory at 12 noon. Benediction at 3pm.

🛍️ Plastic Bag Appeal 🛍️

Our Food Bank Officer, Matt, was all smiles this morning as he helped launch our latest appeal!

We urgently need plastic carrier bags for our Food Bank. Every day we use 40–50 bags to pack food parcels for people and families across our community, and we rely entirely on the generosity of local people to keep our supply topped up.

If you have any spare plastic bags tucked away in a cupboard at home, we'd be incredibly grateful if you could donate them.

📍 Drop them off at The Rainbow Centre
🕘 Monday to Friday, 9:00am–2:00pm

Every bag donated helps us continue supporting those who need us most.
