What a special way to begin Easter Sunday this morning at our sunrise service.

It was so encouraging to see so many people gather together — even with a bit of rain! There’s something powerful about standing side by side in the early hours, watching the light break through and being reminded of the hope and new life that Easter brings.

The weather didn’t dampen the spirit at all — if anything, it made the sense of togetherness even stronger.
Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a meaningful start to the day.

Looking for a friendly, relaxed way to spend your Thursday afternoon?

Come along to our FREE Community Craft Group! Bring whatever craft you enjoy—knitting, crochet, sewing, drawing, or anything creative—and enjoy good company, a cuppa, and plenty of laughs along the way.

🧶 When: Every Thursday (term time only)
🕐 Time: 1:00pm – 2:30pm
📍 Where: St Mary’s Church Hall, Saltford

While you're there, you can also get involved in our Poppy Community Project and Bunting Community Project, happening at the same time and place.

Everyone is welcome—whether you're a seasoned crafter or just fancy giving something new a go. We’d love to see you there!

Don’t forget WONDERFULLY MADE is happening today at 1pm we are looking forward to seeing you there 🫶

A new free Craft group running here at St Mary's Church hall for anyone of any skill level! Starting Thursday 26th of February 2026. Running every Thursday (term time) from 1pm until 2:30pm, just bring along your chosen craft and enjoy.

We will also be running a group craft project during our sessions, called the Poppy Project. We will be creating felt, knitted and crochet Poppys, ready to display around Saltford for Remembance,
If you would like to take part in that please do join us - the more the merrier.

This year marks the start of a brand new group here at St Marys! Every Tuesday (term time) from the 6th of January, we will be hosting Little Blessings, a group for Parents and Carers with Children under the age of One years old.

Praise be to God! Yesterday was our annual Children's Christmas craft afternoon, the Children enjoyed getting a little bit messy, creating so many fantastic festive creations as we remember the true meaning of Christmas, Here's a little look at what we got up to!
